Welcome to the World Parks Day Apps Competition.
Do you have what it takes to be one of the first in the world to mash up parks data and create an iPhone app? You could win cash and have your app promoted by park agencies across the globe.
‘World Parks App Competition’ will reward the innovative uses of mobile technologies for international development. Up to $AUD5,000 for winning developers is on offer. Parks Victoria and other park agencies have made some basic data available and your entry should focus on health and wellbeing themes. Entries close 31 December 2009.
Stay tuned for entry information and apps resources. Register your interest through http://www.worldparksday.org/world-parks-apps-competition.html
Good Luck!
